They say honesty is the best policy, well, I am going to be honest.

I don’t know what I’m doing. I’m no brilliant business man, I’m not a tech genius, I’m not a suave salesman,  I certainly am not a poetic writer or great creator of content, and I don’t have any of the “skills” that it takes to be successful.

I look up to people who have the skills that I don’t.

I look up the small business owners who had the guts to start something from nothing, go out there and fall flat on their face until they find their perfect pitch and are able to build a sustainable business that serves the market.

I look up to great marketers,  athletes, inventors, creators, builders, writers, musicians, explorers, managers, leaders, and so many other types of people.

I started this website to bridge together people that I admire most(entrepreneurs) with the rest of us. It’s inspiring to know that there are so many small business owners out there. These people can teach you that you can do whatever you want.

To be honest, I hope this site and the whole idea of shopping locally, building relationships, saving money, and growing better communities will make us all happier and more successful.

It’s not about making the world a better place…it’s about us being better.
